Benodet, with its old harbour and marina, is located at the mouth of the Odet, on the Cornouaille coast and is the most highly-regarded seaside resort in southern Finistere. Benodet has a lild climate, long beaches, many golf courses and is the starting point for many excursions: Concarneau, Pont-Aven and its school of painters, in particular Gauguin, Bernard, Serusier, etc.
