Nearby: Pornichet (1 km), a major pleasure-boat centre, Le Pouliguen (5 km) and the village, the quais, the port and the old launch “Le Poulligwen”, the old Pouliguen and its fisher houses, the walk to the light and the caves, the road of Penchâteau.
The wild coast via the "Sentier des Douaniers" (customs patrol trail), overlooking grottoes, rocks and coves, Le Croisic Peninsula (harbour, aquarium, naval museum).
"Pays Blanc des marais salants": 50 km of walking trails through the salt marshes. The Batz-sur-Mer museum, "Saillé" (salt-workers' house), Kervalet, La Turballe, Pointe du Castelli, Piriac-sur-Mer, Trescalan, Guérande (mediaeval town), Guérande Peninsula.
Also worth seeing: the Grande Brière Natural Regional Park with 40,000 hectares of ecological and cultural heritage and treasures of mankind. You can go exploring on a guided tour, or by boat, bicycle, horseback or on foot: the village of Kérhinet, with restored old thatched houses and their interiors typical of the Brière region; the "Site de Rosé" (museum of marsh wildlife and plants, animal park in a 25-ha protected natural area); Ker Anas, the "duck village”; Crossac and Herbignac for megaliths, menhirs and dolmens over 5,000 years old, etc.
Saint Nazaire (25 km) and its harbour: tour one of the world's biggest shipyards, the submarine L'Espadon, the ecomuseum, and the floating "Escal'Atlantique" show, open to visitors.
