Description

A charming resort on the Provencal coast, Six-Fours-Les-Plages offers an irresistible way of life with its 18 km of coastline of golden sand beaches, hidden creeks, fishing ports and yachting marinas, the Embiez islands as well as 1,000 hectares of protected forest, old ruins and rich natural heritage.
Places to visit : Saint Peter’s Collegiate Church (11th century), the Pépiole Chapel (6th century), the Paul Ricard Art Museum (Embiez Island), the Heritage House (Le Brusc), Notre-Dame-du-Mai, the Oceanographical Museum, Le Cap Nègre Battery.
Arts and crafts, workshops to visit: “santon” makers (traditional crib figures), potters and ceramists, china dolls and automatons, porcelain painting, wine and traditional produce, glassware, cabinetwork, craftsmen in wrought iron and stone-cutters, the manufacture of instruments for ancient music , fabrics etc.

How to get there

BY CAR

A6 to Lyon, then A 7 towards Orange/ Avignon/ Marseille/ Nice. A50 towards Toulon, exit No 13 Six-Fours. Then take the D559 towards Six-Fours. Continue straight on towards Six-Fours Centre, then straight down Avenue du Maréchal Juin towards “centre-ville”, and down Avenue de Lattre de Tassigny and Avenue de la Mer until you reach the Sea Front. When facing the sea, turn left at the lights towards "Coudoulière" (500 m) and at the 3rd set of lights, turn left towards “Domaine de la Coudoulière” (200 m). Drive into the estate (300 m). At the estate entrance you will see an automatic gate. The residence is to your right.
