A number of activities are available both in the residence and local area such as: Les Portes du Soleil ski region, one of the largest ski areas in the world: 650 km slopes across France and Switzerland. New for 2012, the tropical Aquariaz water park - Europe's highest! Paragliding, dogsled driving, horse sleigh rides, snowshoe walks, mountain biking on ice, 'avoscoot', ice diving... Avoriaz has a very highly regarded ESF ski school and a fantastic 'Village des Enfants' for the little ones. Your kids will also love the floodlit sledging hill in the resort centre.

The first, "the water tree", with geysers, hanging water games, slides and pistols, opens out into a big paddling pool.
