The Pierre & Vacances Les Terrasses d'Azur apartments have been designed in harmony with Isola 2000's natural surroundings. The accommodation overlooks the resort but there is still quick access down to the slopes and local shops via funicular railway (mini-tram). All apartments have a balcony or terrace with superb panoramic views of the Chastillon valley. All apartments have WIFI available for a small charge.

Activities

In addition to skiing there are a range of activities available in Isola. These include ice driving, karting, snow shoeing and ice skating.

Tourist Guide

  • The idea for a ski resort in Isola actually came from a Brit, ex-army and Olympic skier Peter Boumphrey.
  • Isola 2000 was the first ski resort in the southern Alps, and is nicely located close to both Italy and the Mediterranean.
  • At 2000 metres it offers reliable snow but is actually better known for lots and lots of glorious sun.
  • There is approximately 120km of piste and just over 20 lifts. With lots of blue runs, its a good choice for family ski holidays.
  • Isola also has its own snow park with various jumps and rails.
