Villefranche-sur-Mer lies on the shores of one of the world's most beautiful natural harbours, Villefranche-sur-Mer is a pretty port town a stone's throw from the glamorous city of Nice. Holiday in Villefrance-sur-Mer, and enjoy the Cote d'Azur of old. Fishermen still bring in their catch to the town's port. Colourful traditional houses look out to see, and narrow streets run into picturesque squares in the town's medieval centre. Villefrance-sur-Mer is a truly authentic French Riviera village, with all the charm you would expect. It also has its glamorous side, and has attracted many artists and writers over the years, as well as many fashionable and famous people looking for a sunny holiday away from the crowds. Villerfranche-sur-Mer is a great spot for swimming as well as sunbathing on the sandy beach. The town has several gardens where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. After a hard day's relaxing, head into the old town and grab a bite to eat in one of the authentic local restaurants, or enjoy a drink in one of its laid-back bars. If you want a livelier night out, head into nearby Nice. It's worth exploring the countryside around the town too. Head up into the hills for fantastic views over the town and the bay, and some great walking country. Along the coast, you will find some rocky coves and little beaches to explore. Around the bay is St Jean Cap Ferrat, home of many a millionaire. The principality of Monaco is close by and worth visiting for its iconic views and atmosphere. We have two residences in Villefrance-sur-Mer with self catering holiday apartments. The three-star L'Ange Gardien residence has apartments for up to five people, and an outdoor pool with views over the bay. The one-star Le Palais de la Marine residence has apartments for up to five right on the beach. Holidays in Villefrance-sur-Mer are a chance to enjoy some of the best the French Riviera has to offer.
