Argos-Shimano Team
Argos-Shimano is a professional cycling team. Its mission is to offer a stable environment that can serve as a basis for top sportspeople who want to perform successfully and at full potential. Therefore the collaboration with Pierre & Vacances is ideal. Since the beginning of 2012, the team's home base is at the Altea Hills resort.
Since the 1st of April 2012, Argos offered to be sponsor of the team so the team has been known under the same name ever since: Argos-Shimano. However, the philosophy of the team has been carried through and still exists as “1t4i” meaning: 1 team representing the 4 i’s: Inspiration, Improvement, Integrity and Innovation.
With big-name cyclists, such as Marcel Kittel, Johannes Fröhlinger, Koen de Kort and Tom Stamsnijder in its ranks, the team has requested a UCI ProTeam licence for 2012.
