15 km of beaches. Gruissan: the old fishing village, the marina, the Gruissan lakes, the beach with its 1300 chalets on stilts (immortalised by the film “Betty Blue”).
The old village is built in circles of narrow, tortuous alleyways with typically Mediterranean old houses, making it one of the most beautiful villages in France.
For nearly 2000 years, the winegrowers of Gruissan have been producing wines whose reputation has lasted through centuries (red and rosé wines).

The Massif de la Clape (“pile of pebbles” in the Occitan dialect), located between Gruissan and Narbonne, was originally an island and is home to a huge variety of animals (foxes, hares, badgers, eagles, eagle owls, swans etc.)
The route of the Cathar Châteaux: Peyrepertuse, Queribus (approximately 80 km away), Lastours (90 km), Puivert (145 km), Foix (195 km).
