This "new town" is divided into two parts: Le Levant with the straight lines of the pyramids, and Le Couchant characterised by the curves and cockleshells of Venus.

How to get there

BY ROAD
Paris (755km) – Lyon (296km) – Marseille (161km)

From Paris : A6 motorway to Lyon, then A7 to Orange. Continue on A9 towards Nîmes and Montpellier.
Take exit 26 ‘GALLARGUES-LE-MONTUEUX / AIGUES-MORTES / LE GRAU-DU-ROI’ and follow the N313. Near Aimargues, take the 1st exit at the roundabout and carry on along N113 towards: ‘LUNEL / LA GRANDE MOTTE’.
Near Lunel, take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto the D61. Cross Lunel and carry on for about 11 km.

Take the 1st exit at the roundabout towards La Grande Motte and follow the D62. Then take avenue du Général Leclerc on your left and enter La Grande-Motte. Carry on along avenue du Général Leclerc then turn right into avenue de Melgueil. After about 500m, turn left into allée des Jardins.
