Description

At an altitude of 1,800 m you can enjoy cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, or set off to explore the local heritage sites.

An encounter with nature
Superb view over the mountain from Le Canigou to Le Carlit, taking in the various peaks along the Spanish border. Discover the Bouillouses Lake and its surroundings, a listed natural site.

Heritage and Tradition :
Explore the fascinating world of solar energy and visit the Odeillo solar furnace, the research site belonging to the National Scientific Research Centre, and home to the world's largest and most powerful solar furnace. The "Little Yellow Train" (at Odeillo-Via railway station) will take you from Villefranche de Conflent to Latour de Carol for an unforgettable tourist trip.
On the edge of the Bouillouses forest you can discover the Chapelle de l’Ermitage (Hermitage Chapel) which contains several remains of Baroque art. The Grand Hotel built in 1910, (certain parts of which are included on the historical monuments list), will surprise you thanks to its sheer majesty and imposing presence. Discover the fortified towns of Mont-Louis, (the highest fortified town in France at 1,600 m), and of Villefranche de Conflans or "The Pink Marble Town" which features a unique and well-preserved range of fortifications ranging from the Middle Ages through to Vauban's era. How to get there?

By car

- From Paris:Take the A.9 motorway as far as Perpignan, exit at "Perpignan Sud", then the N116 and D618 towards Andorra to Font Romeu.
- From Toulouse: Take the A64 motorway towards Montpellier/Barcelona, then towards Foix/Andorra; then the N20 to the Puymorens tunnel. Then drive towards Bourg Madame as far as Ur and take the D618 until you reach Font-Romeu.
The residence is located beside the post office.
