Capital of the Midi Pyrenees region, Toulouse boasts a very rich heritage with its brick monuments and pink marble façades such as the Capitole (Town Hall and National Theatre) and its dungeon.
Major monuments to visit: Saint Sernin Basilica (the largest Roman church in the West), Saint Etienne’s Cathedral, the Jacobinic Convent (church, chapter house, chapel and cloister). The Bernuy Hotel is one of the most beautiful examples of Renaissance art.
